I was unsure about the meeting place, so I came to check it out beforehand, confirmed with the staff that it was the right place, and then made a reservation on the spot. The staff were very kind! Each gondola holds 5 people. The ride takes about 30 minutes. If you're not particular about the route, I think this experience is great! However, there was no walking guide as described.

Leonardo is very personable, knowledgeable and skilled boat captain. We thoroughly enjoyed a 4 hour lagoon tour with stops in Murano to see the art of glass blowing and Burano the colorful fishing village. As a native Venetian, Leonardo was very informative about the history and changes to the lagoon and water tides. We had a really pleasant time and recommend this activity.
