We will meet at the indicated time in the Touristour de San Pedro de Atacama square and head south, towards the Cejar lagoon.
When we get off the bus, we will discover the Cejar lagoon, a stunning salt lake formed by rainwater. It is located in the middle of the Atacama salt flat, a huge expanse of arid land rich in mineral salts dominated by the Andes and the Licancabur volcano. If you wish, you can bathe in the Cejar lagoon and try to immerse yourself in its waters. Its salt concentration is even higher than that of the Dead Sea: it will be impossible for you to sink!
We will continue the tour with a visit to the Ojos del Salar. These two twin sinkholes emerge as a circular oasis in the middle of the Atacama Desert. We will enjoy the landscape and the intense blue color of the Ojos del Salar swimming in its deep waters.
The last stage of the excursion will take us to the Tebenquiche lagoon. This huge, shallow body of water extends across the Atacama Salt Flats, creating an environment of great beauty. We will offer you an aperitif next to the lagoon to enjoy the landscape and admire the impressive palette of ocher colors of Tebenquiche at sunset, with the Andes mountain range in the background.
Then we will head back to San Pedro de Atacama. We will leave you in the small square in the center of the town five hours after departure.
