Benagil, Marinha & Albandeira - Kayak w/ Local Guide

DESCRIPTION:

Meet us at the beach and get ready for the ultimate kayak adventure along the Algarve coast. On arrival, we'll provide everything you need: life jacket, paddle, waterproof bag, water and a snack.

After a short safety briefing and kayaking instruction, you'll launch from the shore and start paddling with our group, always guided by our local guides (and kayak instructors). Whether it's your first time or you've kayaked before, you'll feel safe, supported and confident from start to finish.

As we glide along the coastline, you'll discover the area's most impressive cliffs, rock formations and hidden sea passages, while learning about the local history, nature and marine life. Along the way, we'll explore caves, tunnels and secret spots that make this coast one of the most beautiful in Europe.

One of the highlights of the tour is the famous Benagil Cave, one of the world's largest sea caves and a true Algarve icon - a moment you won't forget.

Unlike rushed tours, we offer a longer experience with a relaxed pace, giving you more time to enjoy the coastline. After visiting Benagil, we'll make our way back while exploring extra places we may have skipped or even revisiting your favorite spots if conditions allow.

The total paddling distance is approximately 5 km, so be ready for a fun workout and an unforgettable ocean adventure!


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- This activity starts and ends at Albandeira Beach.

- We use double and single kayaks. Single kayaks are usually reserved for the guides, but if you'd like one, let us know and we'll do our best to arrange it (subject to availability and sea conditions).

- Due to local rules, it is not allowed to step onto the sand inside Benagil Cave. We can enter the cave, but we must stay in the water.

- We may stop inside other caves, but this depends on ocean conditions and safety. We always aim to enter as many as possible when conditions allow.

- If stopping inside caves isn't possible, we can often stop at hidden beaches only accessible from the sea.

- This is a very popular area, so you may see other groups and boats during the tour. For a quieter experience, we recommend booking early morning (7:00) or afternoon (after 13:00).

- If you join an early morning or late afternoon tour, we recommend bringing a light windbreaker, as the ocean breeze can feel cool when wet.
