Reviews: Tastes of Gran Canaria A Day of Flavours and Culture
Guest User2026-01-29
Great combination of visits, good interaction with the tours guides at each venue. Negative- distillery tour gave 4x tasters, only had 10 minutes to drink them. Felt rushed, especially when we had over an hour ‘free time’ at the next stop.

Highly recommended! You learn a lot about banana cultivation and growth in a short time. The guide was excellent, and the subsequent tasting was great too.

Interesting and very useful for exploring the island, its beautiful villages, flora, and terrain. An additional extraordinary experience was a visit to a banana (plane tree) plantation and Los Cantares beach. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely amazing. Lots of families, enough time at the spots to look around on your own. The guide tells a lot on the bus, but quite fast... you always have to follow the whole thing. The visit to the banana plantation was very interesting, a nice little extra (though you do have to pay a sort of tip to the owner). You can order lunch during the trip in Puerto las Nieves. We didn't do this, but walked to the natural pool ourselves and went for a swim. If you don't handle winding, narrow roads very well, this might not be the trip for you. From the south to the north coast, there is a lot of winding through the mountains. The right side of the bus is recommended then, but you see the coastal areas a bit less later on. Conclusion: highly recommended if you want to get to know the island of Puerto Rico. We saw an incredible amount.
