Valentine was an outstanding host. He is super knowledgeable about the area, the wines, and global wine. Going in the off season was amazing! Saint Emilion was very quiet, making it easy to explore and get great photos. The winery hosts were very generous with their time and service. The wines themselves, delicious! We will be recommending this tour to anyone going to Bordeaux.

I loved the historical information at the beginning of our class as well as a thorough explanation of the different regions and wine classifications. I especially loved his explanation and chance to explore the sensory aspects of the wine - visual, smell and taste. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and seems to really enjoy talking about wine, making it easy to follow and understand. This was time and money well spent.

I highly recommend this tour. Delicious and informative.I can’t think of a better way to begin your visit to Bordeaux. Sampling the finest baked goods the city has to offer at the same time learning about the history and it’s ancient monuments.

The tour overall was excellent however had changed a little from when we booked. Vicky was an excellent guide. She was informative regarding the wines of the region, how the wines from the different appellations had different blends etc. She also covered the history well.


