Reviews: Palazzo Te Mantova - Tour with Guide Tiziana Portioli

The tour of the palace was wonderful. Mrs. Tiziana, with a wonderful tone of voice, made us fall in love with the works housed here, as well as with the history of this pleasure paradise of Federico II Gonzaga. We absolutely recommend the guided tour. Thanks again, Tiziana.

Today, we took a trip to Mantua with the Barlassina Social Cooperative. We boarded at 11:00 a.m. and toured the lakes and part of the Mincio River. A delicious lunch was served on board, and upon disembarking at 3:30 p.m., we began our walking tour of the historic center with a wonderful guide. It was a perfect day, thanks in part to the faint rays of sunshine, and it's an experience I recommend to everyone.

Absolutely amazing tour! Fabio is a truly fantastic guide and his knowledge of Verona is beyond impressive. The earpieces worked amazing (I wish all tours used them!!) and the way Fabio conducted the tour you can tell he absolutely loves history. Could not be happier with this tour, so happy we booked it and wish more tour guides had this level of skill, charisma and storytelling abilities 100000/10!

This was a wonderful experience. Our guide Laura provided us with the rich history of Verona and we walked it's beautiful and ancient streets. We tasted traditional foods at some great spots throughout the city. It started with a morning pastry, followed by a tour of historical roads, frescos, and buildings, then on to a great lunch at a great spot built in medieval times. A tasting of wines from Verona with great cheese and salame followed which was then capped off with some delicious gelato. Funicular tix were provided at the end for Castle San Pietro, which we used later at sunset for great views of the city. Laura is an absolutely great tour guide! She was friendly, fun, and super informative. Her smile, laughs, and personality are priceless. Go on this tour, you'd have to be dead to not love it!
