In the Euganean lands, in fact, the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the good climate allow the cultivation of various grape varieties. White wines include Serprino (a biotype of the Glera vine), which can be called the ‘volcanic' version of Prosecco; Pinot bianco; Garganega, Chardonnay and Manzoni. The local red wines include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmènere.
