This trip is where adventure meets tranquility along the shores of Senja. With a maximum of six guests we enjoy a stress-free, personal, and intimate day on the crystal clear arctic ocean, fjord and beaches.
Each trip is tailored to the group and weather conditions through a morning briefing to ensure the best and safest paddle experience. Locations vary from dramatic fjord and horizon on the "outside", including the Inner Seal Fjord that reaches into Ånderdalen National Park, to the generally more sheltered "inside", where we find quiet coves, scattered islands and remote beaches with magnificent views. All of these locations are around the peninsula within just 15 minutes' drive from our starting point at Senja Roasters Café.
Half way through the kayaking we will stop on a secluded beach to stretch our legs before enjoying a delicious lunch and home roasted coffee from Senja Roasters, with plenty of time to take photos, or simply sit back and take in the silence.
We travel at a relaxed pace, giving you time to connect with the landscape and the moment. Along the way, keep your eyes open for wildlife — puffins, sea eagles, seals, porpoises, reindeer, moose, otters, and countless seabirds.
If you are a family or group of friends of four, then reach out to us and let's make your trip private at no extra cost.
If you're interested in fishing, then let's try fishing from the kayak on the way back. Maybe the highlight of the trip is hidden beneath the surface of the water and you can bring back home a self-caught dinner!
Be aware that you need to arrive by car to the meeting point.
