Itinerary
The Preveli beach, which is also known as Lake Preveli or Phoenix, is at the end of the beautiful Kourtaliotikos Gorge, which is where the Grand River (Megalos Potamos) runs. Without a question, this beach on South Crete is very famous. Every summer, thousands of people come to enjoy the water.

There is a beautiful population of Theophrastus palm trees along the banks of the Grand River that makes it feel very tropical. The Palm Forest of Vai is bigger than this forest, which has a lot of palm trees.
Before it gets to the sea, the river makes a lake that is 500 metres long. As you make your way to the beautiful canyon, take some time to enjoy the beautiful stream lined with lush palm trees. Along the river's mouth, you can find a beautiful beach with a mix of sand and rocks.

On the eastern side of the beach, there is also a beautiful rock structure that looks like a heart. Your days will be filled with relaxing activities, like swimming in the clear waters, enjoying the warm sun, or going on adventures to see the interesting and beautiful scenery.

The bus will stop at the parking lot that is closest to the beach. From there, you can easily walk down to the water.

The parking lot is perfectly situated near amazing steep rocks, which make it easy to take beautiful pictures. Take your time walking along the path, which has about 300 steps. It will only take you 15 minutes to get to the beach.

After about four hours of relaxing on the beach, the day will end and we'll start our journey back.
