Our tour guide, An Caichan, provides vivid and comprehensive multilingual explanations, treating each tourist with enthusiasm and patience, especially caring for the elderly and children, and even helping to find the best angles for photos. She resolves any problems encountered during the trip promptly, and some guides have even helped retrieve lost items. The distances between attractions are moderate, with ample time spent at each site, and the route is well-designed without rushing. It's particularly suitable for families with elderly members and children, saving time and effort compared to planning the itinerary independently. The vehicles are clean and comfortable, and the driver, Xiao Ye, drives smoothly, allowing for proper rest even on long journeys. When encountering traffic jams, the guide flexibly adjusts the route, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way. The local restaurants and ice cream recommended by the guide are delicious, with no forced purchases and plenty of freedom to choose.

It would have been even better if it hadn't rained so we could have seen more animals! But thanks to the kind explanations from the guide sitting next to me, I learned a lot about Fukuoka haha. It makes me really want to come back with my mom on a nice day 😀

Our tour guide, Zheng, provided enthusiastic explanations and even helped translate the fortune slips drawn at Tenmangu Shrine. The overall itinerary time was ample, but unfortunately, some people were late in the morning, causing delays for everyone. The sightseeing train ride was definitely worthwhile; the scenery was truly beautiful.

Lina was an absolutely wonderful guide during our time in Fukuoka. She is incredibly warm, approachable, and always eager to help travellers make the most of their visit. Whether it was recommending hidden food spots, suggesting places worth exploring, or sharing practical tips about getting around, Lina went out of her way to ensure everyone had a memorable experience. Her enthusiasm for the city is infectious, and it really adds to the joy of discovering Fukuoka. One thing to note though, Lina has a charming habit of understating distances! When she says something is “about 5 minutes away,” you might want to prepare for a 10-minute walk instead. As for the optional scenic train ride that was suggested, it turned out to be not quite as scenic as we had imagined, and the ride itself was rather bumpy.

It was a fulfilling trip that made my unplanned solo trip to Fukuoka shine. Even though I was traveling alone, I enjoyed being able to travel without feeling lonely thanks to Guide Yun-chan, who was like a friend! You shared great information whenever you had the chance, and above all, you were so kind that you will remain in my memory. Visiting Beppu, Yufuin, and Dazaifu allowed me to see the real Japan, and thank you for providing such a peaceful and relaxing trip!


