Reviews: Shanghai Private French Concession Tour: Alley to Mansion (Xintiandi, Tianzifang, WuKang)
Guest User2025-05-13
A truly wonderful travel experience! It was my first time in Shanghai, and the French Concession was my top choice. My guide Laura, was warm, friendly, and shared many fascinating stories about China. The whole tour had a very smooth pace — we walked, had a coffee break, and even tried some hands-on activities. For example, we made a lacquer fan in a local studio, which was such a fun and unique experience! I highly recommend this tour!
Reviews: Shanghai Day Tour with "Eternal Shanghai" Show & Sightseeing Bus
Guest User2025-08-20
Performance 10 points exciting, if the bus can arrive earlier at the attraction a little more time for us to play would be better, when the five D performance program has started, missed this one we have to 4:50 (last show), just the most exciting performance of the day is 5:00 start, so only give up watching 5 D. Choose to go to other attractions until five o'clock, come back to see the Shanghai Eternal Love from 5 o'clock, children and the elderly also 10 points like, so remember not to miss this re-investment performance at five o'clock. Next time you can buy tickets directly and arrive at the venue earlier so you can watch the full performance program.
Reviews: Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence In Shanghai + Wukang Mansion + Wukang Road professional tour guide service with headsets
Guest User2026-01-13
I highly recommend this Shanghai cultural guided tour! Following the guide throughout the entire tour not only gave me a clear understanding of the historical context of the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence, Wukang Building, and Wukang Road, but also provided a level of professionalism and personalized service that far exceeded my expectations – a truly exceptional experience! The guide, Zhou Junju, was exceptionally professional, far from simply reading from a script. At the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence, from the preserved furnishings in the main building and the precious books in the library, to the camphor grove in the courtyard that Soong Ching Ling loved, every detail was vividly and thoroughly explained. She also added many little-known anecdotes, making this great woman's image more lifelike and three-dimensional, not just a cold historical symbol, but a warm and relatable protagonist. Arriving at the Wukang Building, I was truly amazed. The guide meticulously explained its origins as a design by László Hudec, its history as the former Normandy Apartments, and the stories of renowned artists like Zhao Dan and Sun Daolin who once lived there. Even architectural details like the building's three-section facade and vase-shaped railings were explained thoroughly and clearly. Only after listening did I understand why this "giant wheel-shaped" building has become a Shanghai landmark. During our stroll along Wukang Road, the guide also explored the former residences of famous figures like Huang Xing and Ba Jin, tailoring the explanations to our interests without omitting key historical details or becoming overly verbose. What impressed me most was the personalized service. The pace was exceptionally well-managed throughout. When we wanted to take photos, the guide slowed down and thoughtfully pointed out the steps. When we wanted to take more photos of buildings we were interested in, the guide patiently waited and even offered suggestions on the best angles. When someone asked about the architectural style of the old French Concession in Shanghai, the guide answered confidently, sharing relevant historical background with professionalism and patience. The entire trip was not rushed; instead, it offered an immersive cultural experience. Participants appreciated the beauty of the architecture and gained a deeper understanding of Shanghai's rich history spanning over a century. The professional explanations of the guides transformed these attractions from isolated photo spots into a cohesive narrative of time, making it incredibly worthwhile! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Shanghai's culture; choosing a guided tour is definitely worthwhile!

The main show is really beautiful and interesting, The fear room was very impressive, as well as the performance with glass balls. But I didn't really like the rest of the show.

This afternoon, my child and I visited the Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, with Ms. Sheng Sheng serving as our guide. Ms. Sheng Sheng is extremely familiar with the historical background, heroic deeds, and details of the war at Sihang Warehouse, and her explanations were detailed and engaging. She not only recreated the heroic scene of the "Eight Hundred Heroes" defending Sihang, but also vividly presented that glorious era to us by combining historical photos, artifacts, and multimedia materials. My child listened attentively, asking questions frequently, which Ms. Sheng Sheng patiently answered, making the visit both educational and interactive. Ms. Sheng Sheng places great emphasis on the visitor experience, proactively adjusting the pace of her explanations to suit the children's comprehension levels, and further engaging the children by asking questions and encouraging them to observe details.
