Reviews: Tenerife-Puerto Cruz: Avatar Hiking, Bajamar and Cocktail
Guest User2025-09-24
Our guide was fantastic! With only three people it felt like a private tour. The tour was very well organized – starting with a stroll through the old town of La Laguna, then up into the Anaga forest with several stops at breathtaking viewpoints and a one-hour hike, before driving down to the coast for the most beautiful hike in Bajamar. He told us many things only locals would know, was easy and sweet to talk to, and made the whole day feel very personal. He even kindly let us skip the cocktail bar so we could spend more time swimming at the beach and in the natural pool. In the evening he even drove us home, which was incredibly thoughtful. He was a very safe driver and overall just a wonderful person to spend the day with. We got to know the island so much better thanks to him. The higher price is clearly justified by the small group setting and the quality of the experience. Would 100% recommend!

The guide was very engaging. He led the way at a good pace and even lent his pole. However, I consider offering this attraction without the option of an organized return trip from Los Gigantes (and for a considerable price) a major mistake.
Reviews: Tenerife: Flamenco Performance at Teatro Coliseo

The flamenco was full of energy and the costumes were beautiful. The first half felt more like "flamenco themed ballet" with none of the sexual tension I normally associate with flamenco. The second half was better, with a singer and guitarist on stage and more complex routines. As VIPs, we were given a glass of champagne on arrival and given seats right by the stage. However, due to the timing of the pick-up we were the last guests to arrive; this meant that we were at the side of the stage not in front of it which was disappointing

The balconies and the view of the mill were beautiful. There was no guide except with a QR code.
