▲ Huaqing Palace has a long history, dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty, when King You of Zhou built the "Li Palace" here. The Tang Dynasty was the golden age of Huaqing Palace. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, Li Longji, expanded it into a magnificent imperial resort and renamed it "Huaqing Palace". · Famous historical event: Huaqing Palace is renowned for the love story of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and Yang Guifei. Bai Juyi's "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" contains the line, "In the spring chill, granted a bath in Huaqing Pool, where the warm spring water smoothed her creamy skin," which originated here. · In modern times, the "Xi'an Incident" also took place at Huaqing Palace in 1936, where Chiang Kai-shek once resided.

▲ The hot springs at Huaqing Palace are renowned as the "Number One Imperial Spring Under Heaven," maintaining a constant temperature of around 43°C year-round. Rich in various minerals, they hold significant health and wellness value. Here you'll find famous imperial bathing pools: - Lotus Pool: The lavishly designed bathing pool used by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. - Star Pool: One of the earliest pools at Huaqing Palace, used by Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of Tang. - Crabapple Pool: Named for its flower-like shape, this was the bathing pool of Imperial Consort Yang Guifei.

▲ Mount Li is a branch of the Qinling Mountains, standing at an elevation of approx. 1,302m. Its name derives from the mountain's resemblance to a black horse (Li in Chinese). - Historical significance: As one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, Mount Li is associated with legendary tales like Nüwa mending the heavens and the Beacon Fire Fooling the Nobles incident.

▲ Mutiny Pavilion: Built to commemorate Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng's "armed remonstrance" against Chiang Kai-shek during the Xi'an Incident.

▲ Beacon Tower: Built during the Western Zhou Dynasty to transmit military signals, this is where the famous story of King You of Zhou "fooling the feudal lords with beacon fires" took place.
