Very good experience. Tour was smooth, i like how they split the group up so it will not be congested. Overall, a good experience.

It's a really fun experience! A bus takes you there and back, and then you get an introduction to Sami culture, reindeer feeding, reindeer sledding, and other activities. It's very interesting!
Reviews: Tromsø: Dog Sledding Adventure at Camp Aspemo

An activity that appeals to adults and especially children. The staff is attentive. Although it's a tourist activity, we had a great time and the dogs seemed happy and healthy.
Reviews: From Tromsø: Dog Sledding Experience with Transfer

Good fun. Only thing is you have to stop a lot to wait for different groups to catch up or for them to untangle the dogs. But it was easy to mash and fun.
Reviews: From Tromsø: Advanced Dog Sledding Tour at Camp Tamok
Guest User2026-03-11
An absolutely incredible day out with the huskies at Camp Tamok. I shall remember it forever! The dogs, the camp itself and the instruction with the guide were all out of this world and the sledding was beyond wonderful - beautiful friendly huskies who were so engaging, the fantastic scenery of mountains, weaving the sled through birch woodland and beside streams, grouse, eagles and occasional light snowfall - every box ticked and it was a good temperature too so the air rushing past as we sped along was not too cold at all. I wished it to go on and on and the dogs were so full of vitality - friendly with the humans as well as each other. They are so well looked after and truly loved by the guides, it really shows, and the care they get back at camp is impressive - warm kennels in their own with lots of hay barn and excellent veterinary treatment when needed and nutritious food. Was so impressed with Camp Tamok, hope to be back one day :) ^,,^ :)
