Meteora requires a small group tour as the journey is quite long, taking seven or eight hours round trip. We arrived back in Athens at 9 PM. The group lunch was decent and quite delicious. There are several meeting points in Athens; one is right next to Syntagma Square and is clearly marked. The monasteries perched on the cliffs are quite magical and worth seeing.★

It was a fantastic trip! A solo trip with zero English required, and I had a great time. The tour guide was very professional, providing insightful explanations of the cultural background and demonstrating a deep love for Meteora. He was also very helpful in taking photos for everyone. There are many tours to Meteora at the meeting point, so I recommend arriving early to find your tour.★
