Andrey and his tour was recommended by my Friend. We discussed various options, Andrey helped us with pro and con of different options for our situation and we chose Charyn Canyon. Our Guide Hakim arrived ahead if time. Solid Chevrolet Suburban. Hakim speaks good English, was very courteous and happy to chat and and then let us snooze when we wanted. Was proactive in checking for coffee and WC breaks. While the Canyon itself was great the X factor was small village market stop and the picnic by river Charyn. Hakim had 4 year degree in Travel and Tourism and taking to him was like talking to very knowledgeable Qazaq friend. We chatted about places to visit, history, culture, democracy and also our families. The cherry on top was his dining recommendation at Navat. Overall this tour is tempting us to come back for other tours and more conversations during the summer.

I joined this tour in September 2026. Seeing mixed reviews made me nervous, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary! Stop times were well-paced, and lunch at the affiliated local restaurant was seamless. > Our female guide was wonderful, explaining everything in both English and Russian. As a solo traveler with limited English listening skills, I still had no trouble following along thanks to her great energy. Panda Travel delivered the most satisfying day of my Kazakhstan trip. > Two minor points: there was no way to download group photos (sharing via WhatsApp would be great). Also, posting the gathering time on an A4 sheet on the bus door or windshield would help tired travelers who might miss verbal announcements.

the tour guide are so professional with qualification in hiking and he really know well about the mountain (he enjoyed it as well), that add on to his great exp delivery to us and we had so much fun meeting other ppl who's local, had the best time!!!
