Since I was traveling with my parents, it was important to have internet access to make their stay more comfortable (booking cafes, searching for places on the map, planning a route, and using translation). I tried an eSIM card for the first time and was amazed at how easy it was to get one. I specifically bought the extended country package because I was on a Persian Gulf cruise. I had no issues anywhere, and the connection was excellent everywhere. I had plenty of data and speed. This is an incredibly convenient solution—no physical SIM cards, no waiting in line, and no slot replacements. Connecting took just a couple of minutes: I scanned the QR code, and the internet was working right away (you need to connect to WiFi at the airport, which is free).
