Everything went great. I connected without any problems. The internet is flying in Kuala Lumpur, and in Langkawi too. It's a bit slow in Thailand and Koh Lipe, but I disabled automatic network selection in the list, tried four different connections, and chose the best one.★

This is an incredibly convenient solution—no physical SIM cards, no waiting in line, and no slot replacements. Connecting took just a couple of minutes: I scanned the QR code, and the internet was working right away (you need to connect to WiFi at the airport, which is free).
