Reviews: Official ticket: JR Tokyo Wide Area Pass (electronic redemption voucher, redeemable from 8/21)

Ticketing was quick. From Narita Terminal 2, there's a dedicated ticket exchange counter at the railway entrance. The staff were very patient and clearly explained the validity period and coverage area. Three days is enough for several long-distance trips. To go to Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko, you can use the self-service machines outside Shinjuku Station to transfer to the Fuji Kaiyu Railway directly to Kawaguchiko Station. You can also go to Izu, but only with regular JR trains. Overall, it's good and quite convenient.

E-ticket does not need to be exchanged for physical tickets, which is convenient and fast, but the drivers of Donghai buses are unknown to have e-tickets. It takes a lot of lip and tongue to explain each way, which is more troublesome.

The easiest way to use the metro in Tokyo, pick up the tickets and scan as you go! Works for 90% of the metro and makes life so much easier! 10/10 would recommend
Reviews: Limousine Bus, available for departure from Narita Airport/Haneda Airport/city stations
Guest User2025-11-14
Very difficult to redeem as you can only do it once you get your luggage from the airport and are in front of the shuttle, given it is for an allocated time slot only you can’t just take any bus. Very friendly staff who helped me navigate the reeemption process. Extremely clean shuttle and smooth journey once I made it inside!
Reviews: [Limited Time Offer] Limousine bus Haneda Airport to/from Shinjuku and Ikebukuro Area (Late Night and Morning departure time)

This was my first time arriving in Japan alone by plane, and it was even at the airport in the middle of the night. I then took a bus to my destination by myself. The Tachikatsu Bus was really convenient, the service was excellent, and they even had Wi-Fi available – it was fantastic!
