Reviews: From Inverness: Cawdor Castle and Cairngorms National Park

Our tour guide, Emily, had an amazing sense of humor and told us a lot about Scotland’s history in an engaging and enjoyable way. She ensured that we got to see and feed heilan coos which was what had drawn me to book the tour, but even if we hadn’t seen them, it still would have been an amazing tour because of all the great, scenic stops we made and the jovial environment Emily created. I would book again!

We had the best time with our guide Craig! We covered so many sights and activities and it was awesome to see the standing stones that inspired Outlander and take a ferry on the Loch Ness!! We learned so many historical and local facts about Inverness and Scotland. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

The tour guide explained things very attentively on the bus. The itinerary was tight, but we saw all the must-see attractions. 👍🏻

Overall, we had an amazing trip. Our tour guide Iain was exceptionally knowledgeable and had plenty of little stories about the people, places, and events associated with all of the stops, and extras along the way. He was funny, genuine and made sure we had a great experience. We weren’t able to stop at the Glenfinnan Viaduct on the way back but we stopped at two additional places which made up for it. Wonderful trip, would absolutely do another one again.

The coach was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our driver Johnny had an incredible wealth of knowledge of Scotland and Scottish history which he happily shared with us. Johnny is a credit to the company and we would definitely recommend Discover Scotland to anyone thinking of booking a trip.
