Everything was fine, but I still didn’t understand what kind of VIP lounge was included in the ticket price, and just like everyone else, I sat and waited outside.

Basically, it's pretty simple: you get a voucher, arrive at the office (we used Angkal) an hour before departure, show the voucher, and they'll give you badges and print out tickets to pass through the turnstile for boarding. Everything is on time, absolutely right on time!

The earliest ticket I booked required me to arrive at the ticket exchange point 45 minutes in advance, but that's not necessary; the process is quick. Just search for the relevant company's ticket exchange point on Google Maps beforehand, and show your itinerary upon arrival. You can spend 50k to stay on the second floor of the ship for a better view.

I was choosing carriers blindly because there were no descriptions. We took the Golden Queen one-way—it was great, with air conditioning (except the office opened at 7:00 AM, not 6:30 AM as advertised). We took the Angel Express back—no air conditioning, the fans didn't work—I wouldn't recommend it.
