Everything was fine, but I still didn’t understand what kind of VIP lounge was included in the ticket price, and just like everyone else, I sat and waited outside.

Booking through Trip.com is a little more expensive, but the support is excellent, so I booked through them. As is often the case overseas, we departed an hour earlier than the scheduled time, lol. Thanks to that, everything went well. The ferry is small and extremely hot, so please bring plenty of water with you.

They contacted me starting two days prior, shared the driver's WhatsApp contact information, and arrived right on time for the pickup on the morning of the trip. Everything was perfectly arranged, right up to the Gangari boat waiting area 👍🏻. As the boat time approached, a crowd of people swarmed in from somewhere, dragging their suitcases and leading the way. They told us to follow them and wouldn't let us even touch our suitcases 🤣 I thought they were employees from the boat agency ;; Once we arrived at the front and loaded the suitcases, they turned into robbers 🤦🏻‍♀️ “One hundred” “One hundred” hahahaha. That basically meant they were demanding 100,000 Rupiah 😤. I'm not usually stingy when it comes to tipping while traveling, but this guy looked like he was about to kill me with his eyes 🥶. My husband told me to just give it to him and get rid of him, so I just gave it to him, treating it like I'd thrown it on the street... It was so annoying! It wasn't much, but please be careful everyone! Guard your suitcases! Hahahaha.

They arrived right on time for the pickup, and thanks to the kind and safe drive, I was able to travel comfortably from Ubud to Padang Bai! The boat was smaller because it was cheaper than other boats, but I had a pleasant ride. I recommend it!

The trip was very comfortable. There was air conditioning, comfortable seats with plenty of legroom, and no smell of gasoline in the cabin. If we were feeling a little cold from the air conditioning, we went out onto the roof to warm up in the sun (so be sure to bring a jacket and a cape). Water was provided. The boat is large, so the waves aren't as noticeable as on a smaller Lada. The website says departure at 9:00 AM, but in reality, you need to arrive at the company office by 8:00 AM, which is near the port, to pick up your tickets. It's best to wait in a cafe near the office until 9:00 AM until check-in closes. We all go to the port together, check in our luggage, and sit wherever we want. We set sail at around 9:40 AM. We arrived in Gili Trawangan by 11:30 AM. Overall, I recommend it.
