This was one of the better Hop-On, Hop-Off tours we've been on. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the upper deck. The sound was great and the descriptions very interesting. The musical interludes were repetitive, but there are only so many songs about Barcelona. LOL. We did both itineraries, which I strongly recommend if you have the time. One features the gothic area, Gaudi, etc., while the other focuses more on some of the important buildings and history of Catalunya.★

Alan was brilliant! We had tremendous day exploring the monastery plus natural areas. Everything worked smoothly throughout the day, and Alan moved seamlessly from English to French, keeping everyone involved. The monastery’s history is fascinating, and the building lovely - even saw the Black Madonna with no line. But the highlight was the natural setting - the Needles came out from the clouds to stun is all. Then we rode the cog car up and walked all over! Yes, it’s a long walk down, but nothing too hard (just a lot). And well worth it! A marvelous day!!
