There were around 20 people on the tour, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Westerners, and other Asians. There were many rest stops along the way, and if you got hungry, there were places to buy snacks or KFC, so we had plenty of fun on the bus. ☺︎ Of course, the tourist spots were also very beautiful, so I didn't feel pressed for time.

Since it was a small group, the driver arrived at the hotel on time for pick-up and drop-off. The experience was great with fewer people. The steam train was coal-fired, and the smoke was a bit dirty; I was covered in fine coal dust on the way back, so try not to open your mouth when facing the wind. The penguins were adorable, and you could see them up close from the boardwalk. The starry sky was also beautiful. We had already seen the zoo in Brisbane, so we didn't go again. One hour seemed a bit rushed for the zoo. Kudos to our driver/guide, Banban; he drove very smoothly and also shared some sightseeing tips.

This group tour of the Melbourne Steam Train and Phillip Island was fantastic! The itinerary was well-planned and smooth. The Puffing Billy Steam Train was both retro and soothing, winding through the Dandenong Ranges with picturesque scenery. The open-top carriages were incredibly comfortable, perfect for taking amazing photos. The Chinese-speaking guide was professional and enthusiastic, providing engaging commentary and attentive guidance throughout the journey. We didn't have to worry about transportation or tickets, making it a relaxed and worry-free experience. The evening penguin parade on Phillip Island was adorable; the sight of the little blue penguins waddling home was heartwarming. The atmosphere was orderly, and the guide even reminded us of important information beforehand. The driver and guide were reliable, the pace was relaxed, and the whole day was fulfilling and unforgettable. It's a must-do classic tour in Melbourne, highly recommended!

The entire trip was full of surprises! The English-speaking tour guide had excellent pronunciation and patiently explained the penguin habits and the history of the miniature train. The train ride through the flower fields was incredibly soothing, and seeing the little penguins waddling around at the penguin base was just too adorable! The itinerary was well-planned and not rushed, and the staff were incredibly attentive, even providing hot drinks. Definitely worth recommending!

Nathan is a really good guide, he gave the tour the correct energy, not too much and definitely not too less. Good explanation of the history and about the tour while keeping to the time.


