Reviews: A private tour of Beppu, the world's best hot spring town.

Shin was our guide and he was excellent! We found out all about the different Beppu “Hells” Sea, Blood & Mud and also the various Olsen’s around Beppu. We were given recommendations regarding souvenirs and places to try. On the tour we stopped for a drink in a local shop and also visited an excellent local bakery in the Beppu backstreets. We asked for a dinner recommendation and Shin kindly made the reservation for us, We wrapped up the tour with a visit to the sand bath Onsen which was a truly unique experience and definitely a must do. We left with a wealth of new knowledge and new experiences 10/10 all around, you won’t be disappointed.
Reviews: [Official Ticket] JR PASS All Kyushu/Southern Kyushu/Northern Kyushu Railway Pass 3/5/7 Days (E-Redemption Voucher)

The JR Kyushu Pass is an absolute steal! With a single ticket, you can ride unlimited Shinkansen, limited express, and special sightseeing trains (such as Yufuin no Mori and Aso Boy) to explore Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Yufuin, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, and more. It's economical, convenient, and allows for easy travel without a car. It offers exceptional value and is highly recommended for railway enthusiasts and independent travelers.

I went to the walking tour with friends. I didn't know Minami area had so many hidden gems. Specially, the different art exhibitions as I am very interested in Art. We got to speak to a few local people and visited the biggest bamboo factory in Oita! There were quite a few quirky shops for gifts. I also loved the cozy, aesthetic cafes. The tour guide was bilingual and very friendly. I would recommend it!
