Today's excursion was truly a wonderful experience! Klajdi was truly thorough and very kind, even repeating everything in Italian for those who didn't speak English well. I'd say the excursion far exceeded my expectations, considering the very low cost.★

Saimir was a fabulous guide. He had excellent knowledge on all things Berat. He has studied history at university- so was able to provide detailed dialogue on Albanian history. We walked up to the castle and stopped frequently - as he provided commentary. ( I have arthritic knees and he was happy to slow to my pace!) Saimir was able to give access to a few ancient mosques and churches. He was born in Berat and therefore able to provide in-depth information. As our tour concluded - he was invaluable in helping us organise taxis and buses to our next destination - which was so helpful - as it was NOT straight forward- he followed up with some phone calls to us - which was appreciated. If you’re reading this - just book - you won’t regret it.★

Our tour guide, Julia, was fabulous. She showed us all around Berat and provided cultural and historical background for all of the wonderful things we saw, including the castle and Mangelem. Julia was extremely kind and patient (we ask a lot of questions) and made us feel like family. Don’t miss this tour when you visit Berat!
