Honestly really good, I've lived in Budapest for years so avoided these boats thinking it was touristy. BUT this was well worth it, glad I did it.

The boat staff were friendly, the views of the city at night beautiful and the hot chocolate with baileys delicious. It was cold on the open deck so dress warm if you go during the colder seasons.

Definitely have to do a night cruise. The views from the river are beautiful. You have to download an app, which they don’t tell you when you’re boarding the boat, and you have to bring your own headphones. they offer food and drinks on board. the cruise is one hour long with and good audio guide (on your own phone via their app and your own headphones).

Our lovely guide from JayWay welcomed us and walked us to Parliament. She was so nice and friendly. We were glad she was our contact while on this trip. It was raining outside, but inside the Parliament building is was beautiful. The golden staircase, the Hungarian crown. The stories. We truly enjoyed ourselves.


