Timothy is a really great guide. We saw so many animals. If we had visited Cahuita National Park on our own, we would have seen almost nothing. He explained everything very clearly and in a really engaging way. We were also able to take photos through his monocular. 6 out of 5 stars. Muchas gracias!

Highly recommend. We started our trip with the guided tour, and it was incredibly helpful. Our guide taught us how to properly spot animals, the appropriate ways to observe them, and basic etiquette for being in another country and respecting its wildlife and nature. While we were there, we saw many families in the unguided areas walking right up to wildlife, getting in their faces for photos, and letting kids yell and run around. Please don’t be like that. These animals are in their natural habitat, and this is a wildlife reserve for a reason. Tourism can be amazing when it’s done with care, but behavior like that honestly gives travelers a bad reputation. Let’s remember to be quiet, respectful, and treat the animals the way they deserve in their own home.

Unfortunately the sight wasn’t too good in the water so we couldn’t snorkel according to plan, but those are things that no one can control and the staff was so flexible and in the end we did snorkel! I also liked the tour in the national park. Good amount of time in both activities I thought, and also nice combination!


