It was in incredible experience and a luck to find an aquarium to do it in totally safety. We saw "l'envers du décors", "behind the scenes" and learn many thing about it. The diving instructeur is very patient and alway watchfull. For old or young divers ; do it !★

Many thanks to Nico and the crew for a wonderful morning trip where we got to see both pilot whales and dolphins.
We were rescheduled from 2 days earlier, due to the poor weather, but re-arranging was straightforward and we got plenty of notice. On the day we did get to go out, the crew went out of the way to make sure that we felt at home, that we always had food and drink whenever we needed, and to help explain what we were seeing.
We also appreciated that the boat never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. Unlike some of the other operators which looked crammed full of passengers. So, yes you're paying more, but we thought that it was worth it.
A bonus was that one of the crew went around to take photos not just of the sea life but also of us.★

We had a fantastic day. Richard is very calm, stops occasionally to share stories, and seems like everyone is still on board. It's not a very busy levada walk, with plenty of space to stop for photos. And the area is beautiful! Walking mostly in the shade is also very pleasant, considering it was quite warm. It was also nice that we stopped for coffee beforehand. After the walk, we discussed it with the group and had lunch on the beach. We had a good, tasty lunch, and a beautiful view. And then a poncha! We had a wonderful day!★

I cannot praise this trip highly enough. The route and stops along the way flowed beautifully, with our very informative and friendly guide, Marco, bringing Madeira to life for us. He explained not only the history and the diverse plant species, but also how families have managed the land for generations. It was fascinating, so much so that I fallen ever so slightly in love with Madeira. Highlight of the trip for mr was the L’évada trail (No-11) which needs pre booking online. €4.50. An added lovely touch after a full day of sightseeing was we were dropped off in order of pick-ups even though I’m sure it may have been easier to drop off the other way around. Very thoughtful.
