Luis was our guide and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. He explained everything in detail, the route was incredible, and the local food was a buffet but delicious and homemade. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to everyone.

Although there were only two of us (one buggy) and the weather was cold and slightly rainy, the two guides took their time and completed the entire tour. Four hours, approximately 60 km of driving, and a complete circuit of the volcano made for a spectacular adventure. The buggies handle well, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h, and we even drove on some cool off-road tracks. We made a short stop in the village at the bottom of the volcano. The guides explained a lot, we learned a great deal, and there was plenty of time for taking pictures. A truly fantastic experience. Thank you!

Very good. The guide was very attentive and friendly. It's true that if you book for 6 people, for example, they give you a 4-person buggy, so you don't drive for very long compared to people who drive a quad bike, for example.

We had very bad weather. It rained and was very foggy. Our guide handled this perfectly. After discussing it, we walked around the lake, and he was a fantastic storyteller. So, all in all, he made the best of it, and we still had a nice morning.

Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.

This was the most amazing tour! We had an amazing time, the waves felt big and a little scary at first, but we felt completely safe the whole way through, even one of our group who can’t swim was at ease. Luis was a fantastic guide, full of enthusiasm and knowledge about the island and its wildlife, which made the trip even more special. The snacks on board were also a lovely touch and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!


