Reviews: Highspeed Ferry Ho Chi Minh - Vung Tau (Greenlines DP)

Everything was great! I loved it, there was free water and mini chips. The views were beautiful, but I remember the ships with tons of containers; it was interesting to see them. They were shipping orders from China.

We booked an English-speaking tour for our Vung Tau day trip. There were five of us: two Chinese tourists, two Italian tourists, and one Iranian tourist. The tour guide picked us up from our hotel early in the morning. The vehicle was fantastic, very comfortable, and despite the long journey, it wasn't tiring at all. The tour guide was a very handsome guy 🤵 with excellent English and comprehensive explanations of the sights. The lunch he arranged was also very good. The only downside was that he forgot to drop off one of the Iranian tourists at their hotel in Vung Tau at the end of the tour, so the car had to drive for quite a while before turning back. Overall, the Vung Tau trip was quite enjoyable.

Reviews: Vung Tau Ferry from Ho Chi Minh City by Greenlines DP

The ride was smooth and the timing was fine, and we arrived safely in Vung Tau. The booking confirmation was only in Vietnamese, so it was difficult to figure out where the ferry terminal was, which was a bit of a struggle. It would be even better if there were explanations of the departure and arrival locations in Japanese, along with a banner that links to a map. At the Bach Dang Ferry Terminal, you can relax at a cafe while waiting to board. This is unrelated to the ferry, but the taxi driver at our destination was pushy. It was hot so taking a taxi was a good idea, but I ended up paying 100,000 dong because I just went along with what he said. It's not that expensive when you consider it in Japanese yen, but it seems like about half that amount would have been more reasonable.
Reviews: 1-day tour|Can Gio: Exploring Monkey Island and Mangrove Forest|Depart From Ho Chi Minh City

I would definitely recommend the tour; the bus was comfortable and the service was excellent. The guide, Ann, was very sweet and answered all my questions. The monkeys are used to people and a little timid. But if they smell food in your hands, be prepared for the little ones to climb all over you like a tree. It's best to wear light-colored clothing, as the monkeys might get dirt on you. I found the crocodile farm boring. We just watched them. The immersion into the partisans' history and the re-enactments were truly impressive.
