Awesome trip. Nice views. Yudi was kind, entertaining and patient. He knows touristy stuff well. An excellent guide.

Everything was great! I loved it, there was free water and mini chips. The views were beautiful, but I remember the ships with tons of containers; it was interesting to see them. They were shipping orders from China.
Reviews: 1-day tour|Can Gio: Exploring Monkey Island and Mangrove Forest|Depart From Ho Chi Minh City

I would definitely recommend the tour; the bus was comfortable and the service was excellent. The guide, Ann, was very sweet and answered all my questions. The monkeys are used to people and a little timid. But if they smell food in your hands, be prepared for the little ones to climb all over you like a tree. It's best to wear light-colored clothing, as the monkeys might get dirt on you. I found the crocodile farm boring. We just watched them. The immersion into the partisans' history and the re-enactments were truly impressive.

It was very fun. I was worried because there were no reviews. I am satisfied after going on the monkey tour. I recommend it. On the day of the trip, the pickup at 7:30 AM did not arrive, so a hotel staff member called the guide for me. As a result, a pickup vehicle came to the hotel at 8:00 AM and took me on our way. Since my hotel was located in District 1, pickup was possible. If you are not in District 1, you need to call the office. A total of 12 people travel in a van. I was with people from various countries. The guide is kind, funny, and speaks English well. We travel by car and then by boat. The journey takes approximately two hours. Please prepare motion sickness medication. The vehicle shakes quite a bit. When you arrive at the Monkey Village, we first visit the Vietnam War site to take photos and look around. There are mannequin models, making it feel very realistic. Next, we see the monkeys. Please make sure to listen carefully to the safety instructions. The monkeys will snatch everything away. You feed the monkeys peanuts directly. The guide provides the peanuts. We also see crocodiles. Afterwards, we have lunch. They respect vegetarian, seafood, and chicken menus. I had the seafood. After lunch, we go to the beach. We explore the beach, enjoy free time, and then return to District 1. Please be careful of seasickness. I had a great time, but my friend was scared because a monkey came close. Since there were no reviews, I wrote this in detail. Please note that the content may vary depending on the date of your trip. The guide was kind, and it was a very fun day. I highly recommend it. The context might be a bit awkward to make it easier to translate. 24.12.24 korean
Reviews: Vung Tau One-Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh [English/Chinese Tour Guide + Jesus Mountain + White Palace + Beach Walk]
Guest User2026-04-08
Our plan was a private car tour for 3-6 people, with Chinese speakers, including lunch. One to two days beforehand, someone would inform us of the day's precautions and confirm the meeting point and time. We chose to leave early at 7 am, and the driver was already waiting for us at the hotel entrance around 6 am 😂. We would reconfirm the destinations and itinerary. Since we were traveling on a Monday, the White House was closed to the public and instead became a church. We stopped at the church to use the restroom before heading to Vung Tau. Our first stop was Vung Tau beach, which was quite clean. The driver even helped us negotiate with local vendors to rent deck chairs and umbrellas; I remember three chairs cost 150,000 VND. The driver didn't rush us to leave; we could move on to the next attraction once we were done enjoying the sights. Lunch was a set meal at the hotel, which was quite good—clean, fresh, and our parents and elders enjoyed it. After lunch, we visited the Whale Temple, then stopped briefly before heading to Christ the Redeemer statue. Shorts, skirts, and sleeveless tops were not allowed, and we couldn't bring our own water... We just put it in our backpacks and drank directly from it; there was also a water dispenser inside. You can go up to the Christ the Redeemer statue, but you need to take off your shoes and leave your bags there, as it's very narrow and difficult to pass each other. After descending the mountain, we went to the opposite Cape of Good Hope. At low tide, you can walk to the small island opposite. Our itinerary was perfectly timed; we returned to Saigon city early, heading back around 3 PM and arriving at the hotel at 6 PM. Vung Tau's beach is incredibly beautiful; I highly recommend a visit to stroll along the coast and enjoy the view. The driver even suggested staying by the beach for a few days to fully appreciate the scenery.
