The trip was very well organized! The bus is really comfortable and when we arrived all tickets were arranged. The walk up included some history about that section of the wall, which was very nice told by Divina!

Tour guide Lucy is a very pleasant girl with boundless patience. She explains everything in great detail and shows you exactly what you need to see first and what you can focus on later. We traveled with Lucy to Gubeikou, to the Simatai section of the wall. She explained everything comfortably and thoroughly. We rode on local junks, and then had a delicious lunch. Lucy suggests optimal routes. If you are offered a boat ride and then a lift to the wall, take it. It's very beautiful, and you'll have time to relax in front of the wall. We took the lift up the entire wall and then ziplined back down—it was cool and not scary. On the way back, you'll have time to explore the city. From Gubeikou, where the buses park, there are three benches under a club. Above them is a sign with the bus schedule to the Gubeikou train station. The bus costs 4 yuan per person. From Gubeikou station to Beijing the train costs 12 yuan, it is better to buy tickets in advance.

It's very convenient for those who want to visit the Simatai Great Wall and the Gubei Water City. We bought our ticket through TripCom. It was a great deal because I used the TripCoins discount. They contacted me that evening with all the information. In the morning, Jane came to the designated place and time and escorted me to the bus. Everything was comfortable, convenient, and fast. You can buy tickets for all the locations right on the bus, which is also convenient.
