My trip to Xi'an was wonderful. This city has a long history (1.5 million BC – Tang Dynasty), the people are very kind, the food is delicious, and the cost of living is relatively low, although tourist attractions have high ticket prices. This trip coincided with an anti-Japanese protest in Xi'an. Although the methods used to vandalize Japanese cars and shops were inappropriate, it truly inspired national pride. Overall, this trip was fantastic!★

The hotel is only four-star; if I were to go again, I would consider staying at a hotel with local characteristics. Also, I was expecting a swimming pool, but the water was too cold. Furthermore, the service was mediocre; I had to call three times to ask for a shower cap and waited about 20 minutes.Trip.com picks
