My experience buying the "JR PASS Hokkaido Sapporo-Furano Regional Rail Pass 4-Day (e-ticket)" from Trip.com was fantastic! Once in Hokkaido, I easily exchanged it for physical tickets at the JR station's green window or designated machines, completely eliminating any language barriers and saving a ton of queuing time. We planned a four-day trip to Sapporo, Otaru, Asahikawa, and Furano. Just one round trip on the Sapporo-Asahikawa limited express train is enough to make the pass worthwhile! Plus, with limited express trains now fully reserved seating, this pass allows you to reserve a seat for free, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free journey. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to drive and prefers to explore Hokkaido by train – buy directly from Trip.com for great prices and reliability!★

The bus from Otaru to the airport takes about 90 minutes, which is very convenient and punctual. It is an option besides taking the JR train, but there are only two buses a day.★

We love this 4 days pass! We spent 4 days using the pass and you can reseved the seat to sit comfortably. Highly recommend to reserved the seat ahead of time especially Sapporo to Otaru so you can sit comfortably! If you have big luggage you can store it in Jr Station before taking a train for one night trip.★
