The show was outstanding! It started epically and kept up with the tension and speed throughout the whole lunch. The food varied, we were offered seafood, appetizers, desserts, fruits, etc. I don’t eat pork, so I told them that before the banquet, thus, during the banquet, the chicken was offered. I especially liked the jiu (Chinese alcohol) they offered: it was sweet and tasty. While the presentation on the screen that introduced each performance had English subtitles, the host was speaking Chinese only, so, unfortunately, we did not get most of the jokes (we assume there were jokes cause everyone laughed). Moreover, we thought our package included makeup and hairstyle, but we realized that we had hangus only. But it was okay, we were allowed to borrow their makeup and put on some ourselves.

The dance and performances alone make it worth seeing. I think the traditional costumes and food are free. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Great experience. But do head there much earlier if you purchase the makeup and costumes else it will take a lot of time to makeup or decide on your costumes. Then you will missed the photography sessions or the games at the entrance.

This was absolutely incredible. Even though I don't understand Chinese, the performance moved me to tears. The costume fitting and the personal dance at the end were worth every yuan. I will remember this for the rest of my life🤩

At that time, I listened to the recommendation of a friend, and then searched and booked it directly on Ctrip. Later, I found that the price was more than 200 yuan more expensive than Douyin and Meituan. After I found it, I contacted Ctrip and only refunded part of it. Speaking of performances, this palace banquet is very good, with a combination of diversified drama, which is worth seeing. However, if Ctrip is still 575, it is more than 200 yuan more expensive than others' 368.

The restaurant confirmed my table number by email; I almost had trouble finding the email. You have to arrive early to choose your outfit (11 am). You can't ask to have your hair done there; it's usually too late.


