Isaac was an excellent guide, knowledgeable about both local history, customs and food. We never felt rushed and because it was market day we stopped at unscheduled little booths between our stops for explanations of different cheeses, meats and lore. We both felt like the tour was similar to spending the day with a friend who had moved to Annecy. We both really enjoyed the experience.

Our Annecy tour with Delphine was great. We walked through the city, and she told us about the history and some of the architecture. We got to eat truffles, Tartiflette gratinee, cheese, wine, pastries, and chocolate.

Great guide! Plenty of time to do everything. Spectacular scenery. Take your time at high altitude. You may feel strange if you live near sea level. Take sugary snacks. It helps!! We did feel the hour-long wait on the glass “step into the void” was too long for the few seconds we would have to take pictures. It was plenty scenic enough already!! We also enjoyed the train ride to the ice cave. Sad that climate change is shrinking the glaciers SO fast.


