This was a really nice experience. Our hostess Adrian was so welcoming and explained so much about the olive oil industry in Cordoba and its history. We were given a large roll and we sampled at five or six types of olive oil by dipping the bread into a sample that was placed into out plate. We were also given a bowl of olives, and still water, and had a small test of a locally made spirit at the end. After the tasting you can purchase some olive oil that is made locally, if you want, but there is no pressure at all. We had a small group as it was Easter Sunday, but Adrian was full of enthusiasm even though it was a Spanish holiday. I would highly recommend this experience.

Jose Antonio was a great guide, he provided excellent insight into Cordoba’s history, food and culture. The food samples provided a very nice mix of local cuisine.
