The only slight drawback is related to the boat's multiple rotations: don't get the stop wrong, and be sure to understand the time the boat is coming to pick you up; we didn't see any whales but we did see dolphins; the stop in Rotoroa could have been a little longer (here, 1 hour 45 minutes).★
