It was a really fun experience and well worth the price. The tour guide/driver was very friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond, even though my Chinese is not great. He helped take lots of nice pictures and was clearly very familiar with the area. Lots of fun activities and a very friendly atmosphere throughout the whole day.

Great tour and the driver was very helpful. The grasslands were still beautiful although the grass is nearly dead by October. The valcano was stunning. Only advice would be to insist on paying yourself for each activity as you complete them. Our driver informed us he would pay for all activities and we would pay at the end and we were not informed of the prices at each activity. For horse riding, grass slide, go kart and entrance to the valcano the price for two people ended up being 2200 yuan, which more than doubled the price of the trip and was quite a bit more than we expected. Having known the prices upfront, we might have made decisions to skip some of these activities. The lunch was also quite expensive and we were told we did not order enough for the three pf us and needed to order more. Having lived in china collectively for more than a decade, we were sure we ordered enough but we ordered more anyhow. End result was a 740 yuan lunch w/ a ton of food leftover.
