Here's a photo of the shop where you can pick up your ticket. It's less than 10 meters from the actual scene depicted on the back of the 20,000 Vietnamese Dong banknote; you can't drive in by car. The ancient town has a great atmosphere.

This half-day tour was booked on short notice; I booked it as soon as I landed in Da Nang that morning, and we departed promptly at 1:30 PM. Although it was only half a day, we visited quite a few places. First, we went to Son Tra Peninsula, where the sea view from the mountain was quite nice; taking a taxi would have cost a lot. Then we went to Marble Mountains, which are mainly caves and not very high. The English-speaking guide had a heavy Southeast Asian accent, but it was still understandable, and he was very enthusiastic, leading us through the entire tour. Next, we went to Hoi An. It felt quite late when we arrived, so after dinner, we only had a little over an hour left to explore, just enough for taking photos. However, the fellow travelers we met along the way were all very interesting; we helped each other, chatted, and took photos, making it a fun and memorable trip.★

My wife and I were very grateful to have booked this VIP Fast Track service. Even with fast track, it still took us around 30–40 minutes, so I can only imagine how long the regular immigration line would have taken. The queue was extremely long, and I believe it could easily have been more than 2 hours.
Definitely worth it, especially for international arrivals in Ho Chi Minh City. It saved us time and made the whole arrival process much less stressful.★

We booked with a small group instead of large, and the guide contacted us personally as well as picked us up from our hotel, the guide was there whole time, explaining and assisting with everything, at the same time gave us the free time on our own to hangout and explore, trip was fantastic but too crowded with many tourists★
