Reviews: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Base and Sunset Half-Day Trip with Opt Outback BBQ Dinner

I took the sunset tour in the afternoon. There were a lot of Japanese people there, which was a relief, but unfortunately it was an English tour, so I couldn't understand a word they were saying. There were an incredible amount of flies, so I recommend bringing a fly net at the very least.

Great way to get close to crocs in the wild. Fantastic guide. Well worth the price. I would recommend.

Pick-up was punctual. Leigh (our guide) was professional but easy going (and super knowledgeable). Loads of info, as well as great at managing the group. The Flying Crocs were awesome and the swimming holes were a great experience. Highly recommend this tour if you’ve only got a day available for exploring the Outback.
Reviews: Darwin: Kakadu National Park Day Trip

Fantastic tour, really glad we booked this day trip with Kakadu Air. Hamish was an excellent pilot and tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about Kakadu and he also flew the plane so smoothly I almost dozed off a couple of times because the flight was so smooth! Seeing Kakadu from the air is a phenomenal experience. The lunch at Barra Bistro was delicious. The Yellow Water Billabong cruise was spectacular. We were lucky to see so many native birds, brumbies, buffalo and about 10 crocodiles. Some pretty big crocs too! A truly incredible experience.
Reviews: Darwin: Aquascene Fish Feeding Experience

The whole experience was great fun. Patting a shovel nose ray to feeding barramundi and a huge baby cod fish. When you chat to staff they're able to tell all about the fish. But hard for the staff to get everybody's attention.
Reviews: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset + Outback Barbecue Dinner & Star Talk
Guest User2026-01-09
The whole trip was thoroughly enjoyable. Picked up promptly at designated time, driver and guide was really knowledgeable and kept us entertained and informed with lots of fun facts. Shout out to Rachel and Kevin. The cultural centre was really interesting and the drive around the rock was fabulous. The short walk to the watering hole at the base of the rock was great, I should say here I am in a wheelchair for long distance and it was all very accessible. I would recommend a fly net it you are irritated by flies. The sunset was magnificent, it sets behind you and not behind the rock., we had biscuits, cheese, cold meat, dips and sparkling wine as we sat and waited for the sun to go down. I cannot say enough how wonderful the BBQ was, lots and lots of food and drink in a beautiful setting all finished off with a short talk on the night sky which was filled with thousands of stars. It is very hot so plenty of sun cream required, the bus had water available to fill up water bottles. Highly recommend this excursion.
