The guide Mr. Rigert Mara was very informative abour the albanian people, history, economy and politicss. we had very intersting talks. we didnot see many birds as expected from birdwathching tour. it might be better to publish such tour in suitable seasons for bird watching or to start the tour at early morning and to take the visitors to places were bird can be found. meaning not the regular trail that may be crowded or noisy due to motor boats. tha nature reserve itself is very nice and quiet and the unique habitata is very interesting.

Despite it being a gray day for going to the beach, we enjoyed it quite a lot. The guide, Ervin knew how to lead us and introduce us to the history of the place. A lovely afternoon.

The visit was interesting and the bus ride was uneventful. Our guide, Paola, was excellent, providing us with a wealth of information about Albanian history and culture, always in an engaging and interesting manner. The driver, who drove safely and steadily, even on the mountain roads, deserves a special mention. A highly recommended experience.

For me I was given too much detailed history of the country before we even walked anywhere. It was a lot to process all in one go. The tour got more interesting as we visited parts of the city. It was a shame that we were taken to eg. St Paul’s cathedral and couldn’t get inside due to the 6pm mass. Timing of tour should be better. Or leave it out. Listening to the tour guides own mother’s experience of how being ruled under communism affected her daily life was fascinating. I much prefer to hear this type of information as I probably wouldn’t find this on the internet or in a book.

I really enjoyed it! As the title suggests, it's a great mix of a relaxing time by the sea and rich historical landmarks and trivia. The guide, Rigert, was very accommodating and talkative, enthusiastically answering any questions I had. The transportation was comfortable and punctual. I would totally recommend this tour!
