Overall, the experience was enjoyable. There was plenty of food: meat, salads, fish, pasta, desserts. There was something for everyone. Drinks other than water were pricey, but that's to be expected.

The driver, a young Arab man, picked us up at the hotel promptly at 2:30 PM in a 7-seater SUV. Our family of three was picked up along the way, along with two other foreigners. My 1.75-meter-tall son had to stretch his legs diagonally in the last row. Thankfully, the drive only took about 50 minutes. At the rest areas and campsites, many enthusiastic Arabs tried to sell paid services. If you don't want something, be sure to say "NO" immediately. Don't be shy and end up being tricked into buying something. We booked a group tour for a little over 500 RMB per person. Overall, the activity was quite interesting, adding a new dimension to the Dubai desert adventure. The activity ended around 8:30 PM, and the vehicle returned to the hotel. We arrived around 9 PM, showered, and went to bed. The Ctrip customer service provided continuous WeChat support throughout the trip – a big thumbs up! 👍
Reviews: Dubai: Burj Khalifa VIP Experience Level 152 Lounge Access

It was great, a real experience, the highest lounge in the world (152nd-154th floor), fantastic view, magnificent, nice catering. The price-performance ratio was okay. When we were there, it wasn't too crowded. I had read that the entrance was difficult to find. It's actually quite simple: Take the metro to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, then go into the mall (but the walk is long, easily takes 15-20 minutes (the GYG description said 25 minutes to the entrance - that's rather tight!). Once inside the mall (it's the 2nd floor), turn right, take the escalator down to the first floor and continue in that direction until you reach the Apple Store on the right, then take the escalator in front of it to the Lower Ground (LG). Walk straight ahead for a few meters, then turn left into the passage with lots of restaurants, where you'll see the sign (but only then) for "At the Top". Keep going straight ahead and you'll reach the entrance queue. So, quite easy after all.
