This is definitely an experience worthwhile! Enjoy exquisite French cuisine while touring! The views from the train windows are excellent. The basic route is a loop around popular attractions along the Thames River, taking about 1 hour and 45 minutes, with plenty of photo spots along the way. Just remember not to be late, as the train will not wait, and remember to book in advance.

After getting my headphones from the visitor center, I got on the bus, plugged them in, and was able to choose my language – everything went smoothly.
Reviews: Harry Potter Studio Tour + University of Oxford 1-day tour in United Kingdom|Admission ticket included + Oxford English guided tour

To be honest, this tour was a bit expensive, but since I couldn't get tickets to the Harry Potter factory, I had to join a group. Meeting at 7 am was agonizing; I ended up sleeping on the bus. The English-speaking tour guide in Oxford was an older woman, but she was super fun. The itinerary was relatively simple: 1.5 hours walking around the colleges without going inside anything, followed by an hour of free shopping. The tour guide mainly provided explanations on the bus, and once at the factory, it was mostly self-sufficiency. It's basically just the cost of the transportation and entrance fees. If you can get tickets yourself, you don't need to join a group. The only advantage was that it allowed my child to practice their English listening skills.

My husband and I came here valentines weekend and we had a great time. We didnt bring the kids with us because we didnt think they would have enjoyed it, but we will definitely bring them next time we visit because there is a lot of cool stuff for them to see and experience a real castle. •We did the dungeon experience and it was the best 12quid (£6 a ticket) I've ever spent! I wouldnt really recommend the experience for younger children as it is jump scary, but it was fun. The actors are very considerate if you dont want to participate. Great experience and so much fun! We paid a little extra for the fun pictures they do, and we were pleasantly surprised that you get a key ring and magnets for your pictures (£27 I believe). •We did 2 tours that were 30minutes long each and the information and stories they told us were brilliant. The only tiny thing i will say though is some guides (and actors in the dungeon) speak a little fast, my husband is american and sometimes couldn't understand what was being said. I found the tours exciting but if you dont speak English as your first language and have younger children they might find the tours hard to keep up with. The crime and punishment tour was very good and visual and there were a few children in the group that were interested. •The cafe was a bit pricy with the fancy sandwiches/baguettes and salad (£7). They do a range of Costa coffes, donuts and cakes. You can order a baked potato with cheese/beans/tuna/chilli they looked delicious but I just wanted coffee. They did have a menu deal for children. •we went on a rainy day and had to park in the field parking, which is a bit of a walk if you have smaller children and obviously muddy when raining. You can get a shuttle from the field parking that drives you too and from the castle. Parking was £7. •The lodges looked like fun to stay in so we are looking at that for next time. •The tour guides are very knowledgeable and we had a lovely chat with one lady historian guide, who was just a joy to speak with. I love history myself, so I honestly could have chatted to her all day and I think she wouldnt have minded haha. •For the kiddies they have a Zog experience there and also a horrible history maze. •The king maker experience was fun and as you walk round you are immersed in the experience with sights and smells that you would have experienced then. Look out for the animatronic horse (I love horses so that made my day haha). •The archers were awesome to watch too. There is so much you can get out of a day at warwick castle. I would say plan your day if and wear comfortable shoes, arrive when the place opens at 10am, to get in the main Car park, prepare for weather and walking, small steps up and down the towers and low ceilings, be prepared to be a bit jump scared in the dungeon (this was super fun tho). Overall, lots to take in, beautiful scenery, enthusiastic staff, who clearly love their jobs and a lovely day out for the family.

The price is favorable, and while picking up the tickets yourself is a little inconvenient, it's not far from the train station and is conveniently located.

Our guide Andy Jackson was very helpful and provided a lot of good information for each of the stops, and answered many questions! He was so kind and shared fun stories about his life. The driver, Lucian got us safely to our adventures and back to London! Thank you for the great day!!!
