This is definitely an experience worthwhile! Enjoy exquisite French cuisine while touring! The views from the train windows are excellent. The basic route is a loop around popular attractions along the Thames River, taking about 1 hour and 45 minutes, with plenty of photo spots along the way. Just remember not to be late, as the train will not wait, and remember to book in advance.
Reviews: Harry Potter Walking Tour of Oxford Including New College

My cousin and I thought this would be fun way to see the city, and it really was! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about all things Harry Potter, and even had an interactive trivia game played along the way that my cousin actively participated in! I particularly enjoyed the mix of Potter info and general information about the city and some folklore thrown in! It wasn't too much walking, but we did see a lot. I highly recommend this tour, even if you're not a Potter aficionado, it's still a really fun way to see the city!

The tour was led by an Oxford student—a very talkative guy with a sense of humor, and a good storyteller. However, I was disappointed that the entire tour was essentially street-level. I was hoping we'd get to visit some classrooms and see something interesting. But alas. Unfortunately, we never got to see the main part of the Bodleian Library with its books.

After getting my headphones from the visitor center, I got on the bus, plugged them in, and was able to choose my language – everything went smoothly.
Reviews: Harry Potter Studio Tour + University of Oxford 1-day tour in United Kingdom|Admission ticket included + Oxford English guided tour

To be honest, this tour was a bit expensive, but since I couldn't get tickets to the Harry Potter factory, I had to join a group. Meeting at 7 am was agonizing; I ended up sleeping on the bus. The English-speaking tour guide in Oxford was an older woman, but she was super fun. The itinerary was relatively simple: 1.5 hours walking around the colleges without going inside anything, followed by an hour of free shopping. The tour guide mainly provided explanations on the bus, and once at the factory, it was mostly self-sufficiency. It's basically just the cost of the transportation and entrance fees. If you can get tickets yourself, you don't need to join a group. The only advantage was that it allowed my child to practice their English listening skills.

Our Guide, Andrew Parker, was most entertaining with his facts and anecdotes. It seemed a privilege to walk around the grounds of various colleges and get a feel for the college experience. It was helpful to identify the institutions of the University and City.
