Reviews: [Official Ticket] JR PASS Hokkaido Rail Pass (electronic exchange voucher)
Guest User2025-07-22
Hokkaido travel is necessary, only ticket exchange in Hokkaido. I changed at Hakodate Station. Like other PASSs, I went to the counter to change tickets and then rowed seats. The entire Hokkaido trip basically does not have to pay extra. Unfortunately, Hokkaido only has a special emergency line. It is very noisy and swaying. It is delayed at every turn. The Chinese may not be used to it at first. .
Reviews: JR PASS Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Rail Pass 4-day (e-ticket)
Guest User2026-01-01
The booking process was convenient; after booking online, you simply had a staff member scan your QR code to collect your pass upon arrival. However, please note that JR Hokkaido only issues passes and assigns seats at designated tourist counters in specific stations. Regular green windows do not handle this, so we encountered a problem. Remember to allow ample time for this service. The staff at the tourist counters are very helpful, explaining everything you need to know about traveling on the JR line and even giving you a free, adorable penguin card holder for easy storage and organization of your tickets.
Reviews: JR PASS Sapporo-Furano Area Rail Pass 4-day (e-ticket)
Guest User2026-01-15
I think this pass is quite cost-effective. The fact that it includes unlimited free reserved seat tickets is a particularly strong point. First of all, with this pass, you can get reserved seat tickets on the Airport Express from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo without an additional fee, guaranteeing you a seat. It's also convenient to get free reserved seat tickets for round trips from Sapporo to Otaru and Asahikawa. Especially for the Asahikawa round trip, you can get the most out of the pass. I'm sure many people know this, but they seem to carry this pass with them. The ticket case provided was also convenient for storage. I've purchased passes from JR stations in other regions, but they only gave me a single piece of paper, so I was worried I'd lose it. While the trains to Furano are a bit more frequent, this pass allowed me to travel without worrying about transportation costs. As an added bonus, if you're planning to visit the Christmas trees, there's a 1,000 yen round-trip Christmas tree shuttle from Biei Station. It's a good idea to research and reserve in advance. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it in advance, so I walked for an hour round trip from Bibaushi Station.
