As is often the case in Morocco, the welcome was warm. Our French-speaking guide was very patient and showed us magnificent landscapes along the east coast, crisscrossed by dunes. A wonderful memory.

I completed my first ever surf lesson here and it was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. As it was off season there was only 3 of us with the instructor which was fantastic. I struggled to lift both knees up at the same time to stand, my instructor realised this and in the second half he adapted it so that I push up one knee at a time and that made all the difference. Amazing guys, gutted I wasnt there for longer to do another surf lesson!

The greatest experience in Essaouira! We spent a really nice time during our surfing lessons. Our instructor Adam was perfect teacher and explained us all needed basics. Also while we were swimming with surfs he was always near us and helped with starting.
