Because my China Eastern Airlines e-card was about to expire, I chose a flight from Shanghai to Kunming. I've always loved group tours; they're hassle-free and I can travel with different friends. This trip was no exception: Family #1: A cheerful young couple from Shanghai (one chubby, one thin) Family #2: A family of four from three generations in Hangzhou who had just finished their college entrance exams and were traveling all over the country Family #3: A loving young couple from Shanghai dressed in blue And our family #4: My best friend's family The chubby girl and tour guide were both strong and enthusiastic, and reminded me of a former colleague from western Fujian. Zhishilamu Zhuoma was a kind and gentle older sister who was prone to altitude sickness. And the driver, who always arrived at the stops before the other groups, quietly made the journey. These travel companions, along with the breathtaking scenery and the blazing sun, remain in my beautiful memories of Yunnan. I also hope that my friend will be happy after this trip and find a good job soon.

It was alright. The hotel room was small, but it was very close to the train station. The receptionist was quite welcoming.

It was great!! The only downside was the delay caused by the bus transport: we arrived at the park at 12pm and were supposed to leave at 7pm by bus, so by the time we got to the bus, we left at 6:30pm. This leaves very little time in the park, even though it closes at 10pm.
