Reviews: Franz Josef Glacier helicopter tour | 25/35/40 minute | Snow landing
Guest User2026-06-04
An amazing and memorable experience! The helicopter flight over Fox Glacier and Franz Josef offered breathtaking views, and the entire tour was very well organized. The pilot was friendly, professional, and provided great commentary throughout the journey. The staff were also helpful and welcoming. This was one of the highlights of our New Zealand trip and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.★

Reviews: Franz Josef: 2.5 Hour Glacier Hike with Helicopter Transfer
Guest User2026-10-22
The helicopter flight and the glacier hike were fantastic. Due to the dense clouds, we had to spend the night on the glacier because no helicopters could fly. From the very first minute, the guides took excellent care of all the participants. Everything we needed for this exceptional situation was stored on the glacier (food, tents, mats, sleeping bags, etc.). It was an extraordinary experience. And I must emphasize again that the guides were a highly experienced team and put so much effort into everything. We always felt safe. I will never forget this experience!Trip.com picks
