What a brilliant day!!! Remote Fraser tour with group of 8. Perfectly executed tour!!! Staff were incredible!!!! We were a group by ourselves, the other guests were a large group of international students. The staff made sure we went on the first boat to each activity to ensure we were not overwhelmed by the group of students. This allowed us the solitude of our own group at each activity! What foresight by the staff!!! Amazing whale watching and immersion with the whales! 2 of our group had dietary restrictions and were well catered for with lovely snacks and lunch. I would have given these guys a 10 star rating! It was the perfect day! Thank you skipper and team!!!

Rory was excellent. He was knowledgeable, funny, inclusive, and I feel he put a lot into making the day enjoyable, 100%. The timings were perfect and the day spot on! I would absolutely recommend this trip and hope you're all lucky enough to get Rory as your guide!

The day before, we called the organizer to confirm our participation. The friendly woman immediately offered to pick us up directly from our accommodation in Rainbow Beach, which was located a bit outside of town, up a steep hill. This saved us two strenuous hikes. We were picked up promptly at 7:35 a.m. by John. The tour was beautiful and took place in perfect weather. John explained everything about K'gari to us during the entire drive and answered all our questions. We visited the stunningly beautiful Lake McKenzie, where we had about 45 minutes to swim, drove to the former Central Station, and took a short walk in the rainforest. After the lunch buffet at the K'gari Resort (okay, but nothing special), we drove to the Maheno Shipwreck and the crystal-clear Eli Creek, which we were able to swim down (45-minute stop). Around 4:30 p.m., John brought us safely back to our accommodation. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you so much!


