Reviews: Zanzibar: Day Trip Stone Town, Spice farm,Prison Island

We had excellent, experienced guides and received lots of information on the city tour. The spice farm was okay and interesting. They were very accommodating, especially the guide in Stone Town, and the driver was super nice too. All in all, a great trip! ☺️
Reviews: Zanzibar: Jozani Forest National Park Guided Tour

We were picked up very punctually and were lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour. This meant we arrived at Jozani early, with very few others there. Thanks to our truly excellent guide, we were able to see all sorts of animals, especially monkeys. The guide's extensive knowledge was a real plus. The mangrove forest was also impressive. Because we arrived early, we practically had the boardwalk to ourselves and were able to take fantastic photos in the receding tide. As soon as our tour was over, hordes of other tourists arrived, causing complete traffic chaos. There are no paved roads there, and they're all very narrow.
Reviews: Kizimkazi: Pungume Island Snorkeling & Sandbank Tour
Guest User2025-08-06
The pickup was half an hour late, and as a private taxi, he wasn't allowed to come to our resort reception, so we had to walk to the main gate. Otherwise, the private transportation was excellent. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that we weren't going on a traditional dhow boat trip as described, but a motorboat. We called the organizers, but they were correct. The boat trip to the snorkeling spot was fantastic. The snorkeling was great, but bring your own gear for better visibility. Then we went to the sandbar for a fantastic lunch. After lunch, we returned to the boarding point through the mangroves. A fantastic day, just a shame it wasn't on a traditional dhow boat.
